- WI-FI ALERT - WiFi Indicator is Red
- Is the Comm Indicator flashing Red or solid Red?
- Comm Indicator is flashing red (No WiFi connection)
- Need to confirm the correct wifi SSID and password of the customer’s wifi. Refer to Instructions “How to Confirm Customer Wifi and Internet Connection”
- Once wifi and internet connection confirmed with speedtest app, open Basement Defender Dealer app
- Need to make sure the Basement Defender device is correctly connected to customer wifi. Refer to Instructions “How to connect Basement Defender device to Customer Wifi”
- Comm Indicator is solid red (No Internet Connection)
- Need to confirm customer wifi and internet connection. Refer to “How to Confirm Customer Wifi and Internet Connection”
- If download or upload speed are not above the recommendations, the customers wifi router is not connecting to the internet. DO NOT GO INTO BASEMENT DEFENDER AND CHANGE ROUTER SETTINGS. Need to wait for the customers wifi to connect with the internet.
